Qcodo Framework is not dead. This great framework development was virtually halted for several months. Now it changes its course to community development in a brand new name, QCubed. The QCubed is quite compatible with the old controls developed by QCodo users. It contains some major core improvements over the last Qcodo stable release.

QCubed is currently in version 1.0 RC2. You can download it directly from http://www.qcu.be.

Business referrals remain one of the most effective marketing tools, even in this age of internet marketing. Without a doubt, the credibility of the referrer to a target client, especially when both have known each other from previous satisfactory deals, provides the end business with a clear advantage. This type of lead has the highest rate of possible conversion into actual sales and a lead with the highest possible conversion rate is the ultimate goal of referrals.

A business referral is one of the major preoccupations of present day affiliate marketers. They bank on their contacts to generate potential clients, providing commissions to the affiliates for every sale closed. The following are some useful tips to help you get started generating business referrals:

o Get to know who the affiliates are most familiar with the type of business you wish to market. The best referrals in a real estate business are those coming from professional real estate agents and home inspectors. Who else knows potential clients better than them? Its also possible to get referrals from people who are not familiar with your line of business, but who are in some way familiar or closely related to your target clients. An example of this is when the software giant Microsoft began placing a Designed for Windows sticker to practically all branded PCs in the market. A car brand marketed with a special brand of machine lubricant is another example of reciprocal referral.

o Provide information materials about mutual products, highlighting product complements and compatibility. Reciprocating the benefits for the affiliate business by including their products or services in a technical paper is a way to generate product complementation. An example would be if a PC brand refers to its unique CPU feature not found in other brands, which allows Windows to run faster and more efficiently. In turn, Microsoft could certify that claim made by the PC brand.

o Track your business referrals closely. In times of tight competition, business referrals may end up in your rivals hands. Even one good affiliate changing camp may mean your downfall. By keeping track of the output of your top affiliate you can ensure that you remain in a mutually agreeable business relationship. If you notice a sudden drop in the number of referrals this can be a warning sign. If this happens, start gathering as much business intelligence data as you can, and investigate and follow up right away.

Referrals can be the life-blood of your business. Always manage these carefully and proactively, as referrals may mean either success or failure for you. If you are being endorsed by a notorious cheat this will have a harmful effect on you; on the flipside if you are being endorsed or referred by a Hollywood celebrity you could see huge benefits in return for this support.

Now many people talk about making more money. Many dream about winning the lottery, but what about actually doing it. I mean going out there and grabbing it. And what I found is that they are all the same, fancy websites that do the selling for you, a fancy backoffice that supposedly teaches you how to market like a “guru”. Now they also have the most wonderful products. So how could you ever choose one over the other. Well I simply just looked to see who had the highest paid top earners, as well as how any people were actually making money. Now I was astonished to find that overall 95%+ of online business are failing.

So I joined a top company that had the most $100,000 per year earners. This company also had the most training, 7 days a week, in fact I could find no other company with this many webinars. Obviously, with the internet being the way of the future, I had to get started right away, because everyday I thought about it I was missing out. Now I also was scared and didnt want to be scammed and burnt, like you hear about, but after talking to some people I found out that they really do want to help. Its just that most people are to lazy.

With that being said, the worst case scenario was I lost $1000 and it would take me $35 month to pay off my credit card. But I didnt care, I had to try. Because after all, these people in the testimonials online cant be lying.

I assume that you have no Apache/PHP/MySQL installation in your computer. The server stack that I will use is XAMPP from ApacheFriends.org. This server installation refers to Windows only. If you use Linux and Mac, you can find the installation details on the apachefriends website. If you already have configured web server, you can jump directly to step number 3.

The general step to install PHP and Qcodo:

1. First download the XAMPP for Windows (exe version) in the apachefriends website here.

2. Double click the downloaded file to install the application. Please follow the instructions or you can find XAMPP installation instruction for more details.

3. Now download Qcodo framework in their website here.

4. Extract the zip file into one of subfolder in your htdocs. For more information can be found in the original qcodo installation here.

So if you were selling rock music DVDs you would have an idea of the type of person that you would be selling to and tailor your internet marketing accordingly to reach the maximum number of rock music fans it could. One way of doing this is to bid on keywords relating to that topic and using pay per click ads for this keyword.

This is one form of internet marketing that can be highly profitable, but it does cost money each time a visitor clicks through your advert.

If you don’t have the funds to use pay per click internet marketing you could use links in order to market your website. Links can be placed on other websites that will direct visitors to your website with the aim of the visitor making a purchase. In order for links to be profitable for you they must be of a good quality and be relevant, you must also include links to other sites (reciprocal links) as this will get both sites traffic and keep the links open.

Maybe you would prefer to use keywords in the content of your website as this is an excellent method of internet marketing. Keywords are the words that are most used in searches for certain topics and you can find out what these are by using different tools that are online. Once you have found out these keywords they can then be incorporated into your website’s content. However there is a drawback to using keywords and that is if you use keywords too many times in the content. It is thought that the best density for keywords on a website is between 2-5%, so for a density of 3% a keyword should be used 3 times in every 100 words. If you use keywords more than this your website will be seen as being guilty of keyword stuffing and this could result in your website being removed from search engines. If you cannot write content to a certain density you could always employ someone to specifically do this for you.

As shown there are different ways of using internet marketing, and there are many more that can be used to improve your websites ranking. However as with any method of marketing it is always best for your internet marketing to be ethical or it can have the opposite effect for your website.
