Operating System manakah yang bagus diantara MS Windows, Linux atau MacOSX? Itu semua tergantung kebutuhan anda dan tentu saja budget anda hehehe :icon_lol:

Jika anda adalah game freak, Windows merupakan pilihan utama anda. Hampir semua game di Personal Computer saat ini didominasi oleh Windows platform. Bgaimana Linux dan OSX ? Nampaknya banyak vendor2 game saat ini yang menggunakan MacOSX platform juga. Hampir semua major game titles bisa didapatkan di MacOSX. Untuk Linux sudah ada software khusus yang bisa menjalankan game Windows secara native.

For stability and performance? Hm… it’s a hard choice then. Personally Linux is the best choice (although it depends on the Linux distro). Again, MacOSX is trying to replace Linux position in my chart lately.

User Interface? I am still in love with MacOSX. Smooth and fast although you have old processor. Bgaimana dengan Linux? Linux mempunyai keunggulan dalam hal ’skinnable user interface’-nya. Theme-nya bisa dirubah.

Coding? Nowadays MacOSX is my major platform. Why? Because I have only Mac Powerbooks and I like Java. NetBeans + Java SDK + MacOSX are personally suitable combination. Just wait until I have new notebook. Probably it could be changed again.

Variety of Applications? Windows masih memiliki keunggulan dalam hal ini. Banyak sekali aplikasi yang tersedia di Windows platform.

Life Style? Choose Mac platform then. Apple computers, notebooks and gadgets are so cool lately.

Lalu manakah yang akan anda pilih? Bgaimana kalo anda coba semuanya sendiri. I tried all of them. Untuk saat ini Windows is my major platform @ office (untuk menghindari masalah kompatibilitas di kantor). Dan Mac OS X di Apple Powerbook saya. Bgaimana dengan Linux (Ubuntu Linux)? Saya masi tetap menaruh harapan dengan distro Linux tersebut. :icon_biggrin:
