I am testing new widget that enable me to chat with people on my site. This widget is interesting, as I am amazed with the chatting framework of Meebo. Meebo itself is a rich web application that allow us to chat to other common messenger such as Yahoo, MSN, and others. No need to install separate client applications, everything is done on the web. As I can say, Meebo was built using advanced AJAX . AJAX is a combination of certain web technology like JavaScript, HTML and CSS that allow the web browser talks to the server without refreshing the page. It is a very good recipe for building rich web application despite there are some issues over the AJAX itself.


What about Meebome Widget? It looks good. I can talk to anyusers who visiting my website in real-time, I can talk to them through meebo.com. So far I am happy with this widget although sometimes there were some glitches happened in very slow network connection. Status in your website may not be updated although you are logging in to your meebo account. However the message is delivered very fast; depending on your network speed, I got just less than 1 sec arrived in my meebo account. Try to test it then
