If you were stuck in procedural programming using PHP, now it is the time to shift your programming style close to visual development and event-driven style. Previously, if you began developing an application using PHP, most likely you mixed all codes inside a single file. Your logic codes scattered amongst the html codes. Later on you will make yourself confused and frustrated whenever there are some bugs or you have been asked to modify your existing code.
Now I do not want to talk about my own framework but I would like to introduce you with another amazing framework which is called qcodo. Qcodo utilizes the power of object-oriented PHP5. It enforces MVC (Model View Controller) programming style that separates database, logic and presentation layer in your application code.
Its main features are code generator and Qform. Code generator is so powerful that it can detect any table relationships and convert it to appropriate code. If your database supports foreign key stuff just like MySQL5 with InnoDB, for sure you will get advantage of it otherwise qcodo could simulate foreign key relationship using separate configuration. Basic CRUD (Create Replace Update Delete) functionalities can be generated automatically by Qcodo’s code generator.
I should say that Qform follows event-driven approach of Java or other visual development language. Most of any available components can be attached with any event listener. Again, it is just like Java. The best thing if you want your application make use of AJAX, the only thing you need to do is just change one line of code. No more page refresh as AJAX technique will only update certain part of your page need to be refreshed.
In general, Qcodo enables you to create a rapid prototyping. Developers can concentrate on different layers of their application. Web designer can concentrate on presentation layer by designing html and css. While other programmers can design and update the database without jeopardizing the existing code because code generator takes care the changes for you.
Please try it, it could change your PHP programming style soon!
Stumble it!
