My old DVD player which has been ‘serving‘ me for 4 years finally retired. It is still able to play major kinds of DVD, however it cannot handle the newest generation one.
I bought a new Samsung DVD player which is, of course, cheap! Less than IDR 400K (~USD 50). The good thing, this new one is capable to play DivX DVD-ROM. Previously you have to convert any DivX clips to VOB and burnt to DVD Video. Not anymore! Just burn DivX clips directly and you can watch it straightaway. Another advantage, you can push so many clips inside as DivX file got smaller filesize with the same quality as normal DVD (VOB) Video.
Yeah, it support subtitle too, just download SRT file and put it in the same folder. Voila, it will display it straightaway. Many DivX clips are available in http://stage6.divx.com

plus… bisa ngebaca dvd2 yg nggak kebaca di samsung player loe yg somsye (alias ga semua bajakan bisa diplay :P)
